2002, heads done at the dealer, 2 new/rebuilt head from VW.
Coolant was the VW stuff PF. 4 years later i had to do the heads back, the
customer had coolant change every 2 years at the dealer and asked for PF
coolant. The scelant use on the head is unknown to me but look like the OEM
VW prouct.

The heads had one of the worse pitting i have seen.

So you make your own conclusion about coolant quality VS that bad head design.

I use Prestone and hope for the best.
