I hope I don't get "snubbed" for not contributing to the mailing list for a long time....

I am still tinkering with my "new" van, an 83 Diesel that has been converted to a gas powered (with a 1,8 jetta motor).

I suspect that my van is running a little rich....my sparks plug tips are black, dark black....and I am getting around 17,6 mpg.

Does anybody want to share their average mpg?

Thanks a million!

Marie
