Speaking of lights keeping you up. I was forced to stay in a campground recently and had two BIG RV on both sides of me. They had theses outside spot lights next to the door. Man those things are crazy bright, I guess the owners were on the grid, plug in and planing on leaving them on all night. I knocked on the door at midnight after I finished reading and asked if they could turn the artificial sun off so not only they could sleep but I could as well. ;-) JFF On Oct 16, 2007, at 8:15 PM, Jake de Villiers wrote: I thought it was to keep from waking everybody up when you go out to pee in the middle of the night.............:) On 10/16/07, Old Volks Home <oldvolkshome@gmail.com> wrote: > > Or running the battery down................ > -- > Jim Thompson > 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" > 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" > 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" > 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" > oldvolkshome@gmail.com > http://www.oldvolkshome.com > *********************************** > On 10/16/07, JordanVw@aol.com <JordanVw@aol.com> wrote: >> >> all seven passenger vanagons had the sliding door light switch. >> westys >> didnt have it because they figured the sliding door would be kept >> open > for >> long >> periods of time, thus burning out the lights.. >> >> chris > -- Jake 1984 Vanagon GL 1986 Westy Weekender "Dixie" www.crescentbeachguitar.com http://subyjake.googlepages.com/
