Hi Clint,

I'd bet a local machine shop would be the ticket. I've had them rebush rochester carbs over the years. about $100 tops. The issue is getting the butterfly back in and centered,. I've not done a VW throttle body so I cant comment on any actual issues encoutered, but if you've got the right shop/ machinest, they can advise you.

Mark

//The only place I believe I may still have a vacuum leak is at the throttle body shaft. If I rev it quickly, I can hear a bit of air rushing in. Does anyone have a source for new TB shaft seals or a procedure for replacing them?

  Clint
