I had someone wave to me in another vanagon the other day--that's a first.
They're a dime a dozen, here in Olympia, and the PNW in general, so I don't
really give them much thought.   If the other van owners are anything like
me, they aren't typically prepared to respond to waving, flashing and
such.   When that guy waved, I couldn't think to react until after he'd
already passed.
