Ben, I order from busdepot whenever I can and when I have time to wait for the part. I like the people there but if your in a hurry and your order is over 50 dollars I usually go with thepartsbin. Each company has its own advantages and disadvantages. The only two companies I order from these days for vw parts. gary Date: Tue, 30 Oct 2007 12:28:17 -0600 From: Ben Cichowski <cichowski@MONTANA.EDU> Subject: Delayed BD shipments? Hi all, I'll try not to make this sound too bad - it's actually a question for you other members out there: Are severely delayed shipments the norm for BD? I ordered a single small part 1.5 weeks ago and just now got a message saying it was shipped today. The part was in stock. I'll admit their prices are good, but when I order the same thing from just about any of the other online stores (maybe a couple of dollars more tops), it ARRIVES in 4 days, maybe 5. Is this the norm for it to take BD 9-10 days just to put an in stock item into a box and slap a label on it? I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt...maybe my order fell through the cracks? But if other members are consistently having the same experience, I'd rather take my business elsewhere. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
