I bought a nice harness for $30 for my 1.9. Probably the best $30 I've
spent, too, as it had all good connectors. Rather than have one made, I'd
try junkyards first, then Samba.

Also, I'm wondering if those lucky souls who do Subaru, etc. transplants
might bequeath the harnesses to the rest of us?
