It's now autumn here in SE PA which means my clock stops moving until the heat has been on in the van for 20 minutes. I keep telling myself I'm going to fix it "next spring" but when that occurs the clock is working fine again until the following fall. Oh well. Anyway the link I've been saving forever is: http://www.pauldottrip.com/84vanagon/analogclock/analogclock.html Bryan -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Jake de Villiers Sent: Tuesday, October 30, 2007 9:34 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: clock My '84 has the temperature related clock hibernation behaviour. I understand that its probably the capacitor failing and its an easy fix, but I just don't care. Its just another sign of autumn. :) On 10/30/07, Mike Collum <collum@verizon.net> wrote: > > I have to assume that's something of a "Tongue-in-cheek" remark in that > my '85 Westy's clock (digital) is still performing well and has seen > winter temperatures to minus 40.
