The adapters for the one pound bottles are, part # 4503143 post
adapter. You use 2 of these hooked together with a 1/4 inch coupling.
When you put your extend-a-stay on it all depends on the location of the
1 inch male. Mine ended up pointing down. The metal guard that protects
the tank has a hole almost directly under this fitting. I had to inlarge
this hole to make it work. I also had to add 2 close nipples to the 2
post adapters to get it below the plate. My whole adapter, from post
adapter to post adapter is about 3 inches long. Might be better
