I just pulled the main coolant hoses off my '85 Westy and noticed that there
is a white plastic covering over the hard coolant tubes thru the firewall.
Is this normal for an '85 1.9L, or is this likely something that the
previous owner hooked up?  I am getting new hoses and want to make sure that
I get the right size.
