Hi Chad, You mentioned "anywhere" so I thought I'd chime in with some general advice. When I lived in Texas, the were pretty strict, and they definitely checked the reverse lights....but, there were always stations that were "less thorough" than others - that's where I always took out old 300D Sweet Pea. A quick check around the office may turn up some valuable information regarding less-than-thorough check stations. (This is presuming you have more than one in your area) -Ben On 11/6/07 8:34 AM, "vanagonvw" <ac.vanagon@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > Chad Lyles wrote: >> good morning! >> does any one in portland (or oregon, or anywhere) know if i can still pass >> inspection (DEQ) with out my reverse lights? i HAVE to go today ... and i >> dont have time to fiddle with it... sounds dumb i know but i only have a >> small window to do it today, and i just realized they were not working this >> morning ... >> just wondering before waste 20 bucks today or not. >> >> >> > Hi Chad, > > When I have something like that, I just go and let it fail.
