I had this same problem on a customer's van last week. I took a spray bottle of water and while the van was running I went around and sprayed every electrical connector on the engine. Nothing happened. I was about to give up when I spied the oxygen sensor connector. It was the splice in type and they had spliced the wires really closely to the sensor. No shrink wrap or tape around crimp splice connectors. Sprayed water on this and the van almost stalled. I replaced the oxygen sensor with a new one with the long wiring on it and now it is good to go. Hope this helps, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com Richard Golen wrote: > A couple of weeks ago I asked for some suggestions as to what to do > about a problem I was having when my 87 Westy's engine was damp > (after or even during a rain storm).
