Not mine, no connection to seller - the bus belongs to a friend's neighbor. He sent me some pictures, but since I can't attach them you will have to e-mail him directly for the pix. Didn't see any signs of rust in the pix - you'll have to ask. It's here in New Mexico so maybe the dry climate spared it. Maggie FOR SALE 1985 Volkswagen Westfalia We must sell our beloved 1985 VW Westie (named Lilly White) because we have bought a new vehicle. This fully loaded camper has been like part of our family, taking us on wondrous trips and vacations. It is nearly perfect inside--all appliances work, upholstery is great, seals are water-tight, canvas is perfect (only some small holes in the netting). This is the ideal vehicle for two- or three-person camping trips, although it sleeps up to four people. The exterior has only a couple of very minor scrapes and superficial dents. Mechanically this rig is in excellent condition--absolutely nothing needs to be fixed to enjoy it immediately. This wonderful vehicle has been very well loved and maintained and has at least another 100,000 miles in it to take you where you want to go. Check out these features: Air Conditioning Automatic Transmission (new in 2005) Tow package Premier CD/AM/FM Sound System (new in 2005) New Tires, Shocks, Battery (in 2007) Fridge, Sink, 3-Way Stove, water tank all work perfectly Two comfy Full-Size Beds Two Tables, front and back Swivel Front Seats Original curtains, rear netting Water-Cooled Power Steering & Brakes 157,000 miles 3rd Owner All Maintenance Records 20 mpg Comparable Westies sell for up to $12,500, but we're asking only $9,500 for quick sale.
