During some extremely rainy weather, I used Rain-X for 2 weeks on the
windshield of the '79 Dodge van I drove for work some years back. The wipers
crapped out and the replacement part was back ordered. The rain beaded up
and ran off like water off a duck's back. In some ways, it worked better
than the wipers, 'cause the rain never collected into droplets large enough
to obscure my vision.
