Hi all.
In prep for my engine swap, I will be running my 2L manual tranny air cooled
1981 Westy through "Air Care". An emissions testing up here in Vancouver
Canada that basically measures HO, CO, and NOx emissions.
Aside from making sure plugs are clean, and ignition parts are in good
shape, and that vehicle has been run on the highway and up to temp, are
there any adjustments one could do to help it get through the test?
i.e. the CO adjustment?
Any other tips? I run ethanol blend gas ("may contain 10% ethanol"). Will
this help?
I have not touched the CO adjustment before but I have a tach and Bentley so
can adjust the CO to spec.
This van passed emissions before I bought it, but that was over a year ago.
Cheers,
Neil.
