Yeah That's why I'm thinking twice. It says "Converts regular PS fluid into a universal fluid to be used in vehicles such as..GM, Chrysler,Ford, Toyota, Honda and more" The MDS sheet calls it Petroleum Hydrocarbon. Baseoil, PAO, and trade secret additives. Add 4 oz to system. What could possibly go wrong? ;-) jm On Dec 12, 2007 9:46 PM, Anthony Egeln <regnsuzanne@yahoo.com> wrote: > Remember the vanagon uses automatic transmission fluid in the power > steering, not power steering fluid...so is the product compatible with ATF? > > Anthony > '89 Syncro GL (Hidalgo) > > > > John Meeks <vanagon@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > I'm looking at a bottle of ATP power steering protectant AT-213, a > synthetic blend that's supposed to "Eliminate whines and noise in > Power Steering Systems" and "Lubricates and protects Racks and Pumps. > Snake Oil?? > > Anyone tried this?
