During the recent storm up here in the Northwest, one acquaintance of ours
ended up with 26 trees in their house.  It was windy that day.

Sorry to hear about your van.  I just got my Westy, and am in the process of
getting insurance coverage.  Ron's and the previous accounts of damage and
insurance wrangling has made me a little less indifferent about the whole
subject.  Don't know exactly what I'm going to do yet, but I'll definitely
not get 'the standard used car policy.'

Imagine the force required to do that.  It would be interesting to calculate
the weight of the tree, many thousands of pounds I would imagine.

Does it still run ?   You could advertise it as 'runs, needs work.'
Those trees man, they can be deadly in storms.
