I am replacing my fuel lines.  There is a hard plastic hose running from the filter backward to a plastic fitting which spans the firewall.  What have people done with this?

Choose

1. Replace with metal tube to firewall
2. Leave it there.  Hasn't been a problem
3. Leave it there. Has been a problem
4. Other (explain)
