Two points for peoples' edjumicashon:

-If you have a single broken line and a torch and
some solder you can fill the broken line with some
solder and have brakes on three wheels.

-I routinely heat the bleeder bolt with a torch before
removing it, same with any stuck bolt I can get at safely
with a torch.  (not recommended for CV bolts!)
