I rarely use the rear cabinet in my Multivan (pop top with the rear cabinet). I use the bed all the time but would like to make it full the full width of the van for me and my wife. 

I am considering permanantly removeing the cabinet and then finishing off the interior so it looks factory finished like a weekender. I will have to re-work the air conditioner housing as well as do something about the hoses that come up behind the cabinet to feed the air. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have pictures or is there a web site? Will parts from a weekender do the trick?
