BTW, my engine block heater (oil sump heater) has a 110v connector that
normally resides just inside the license plate door.  I pull it out
through that door when using it.  I suppose you could do something
similar for your internal power outlet box though I have seen RV type
weather proof connectors mounted alongside the license plate door.
