Subject:Stalls when Cold
From:Jeff Lincoln
Date:Fri, 11 Jan 2008 12:06:06 -0500

Ok, now for a more serious question. My '90 has been having a rough time
getting going when it's cold. It starts right up but I have to sit and give
it some gas for a couple of mintues or it stalls out. Sometimes it will idol
without stalling (although roughly) but stalls when I put it in gear. Once
it warms up a bit and "wakes up" it's fine. No other problems. This only
happens when it has been sitting for a few hours or more.

Any ideas? My friend Brien did mention the cold start valve to me a while
back - could that be it?
