I live at 9000' and the lighter thing is always a problem come BBQ time. Try matches......hey stinky, get over the smell of others! Someone mentioned warming the butane lighting device and this does seem to work. Or try what always lights off for me in the garage...Mapp gas cylinder with a Bernzomatic TS4000 torch! Dern'rhait fires off evr tahm but wach yer tael Mr.Squirrel!! Miguel
