the brake and clutch system share hydraulics...there is a bleed screw on the top of the clutch slave cylinder...if you have as little "fire wall" left as i, it is easily accessed via the engine compartment. peace don p 84 westy carolina ri robert feller <syncro.carboncow@GMAIL.COM> wrote: I replaced my front brake lines this month. Everything was new from the master cylinder to the calipers. I tried a pressure bleeder but either me or the unit didn't work quite right and I went with the "partner" method of brake bleeding. We'll the brakes work great but I have to double pump the clutch sometimes to get it in first gear or to get another gear. Sometimes, but not always. Is there a chance of air in the clutch cylinder introduced from me running the system so low? or does it (air) work itself out on such a system? or is there a bleeder value for the clutch? Any comments and a point in the right direction would be appreciated.
