<I put them into the dryer and
took them out when they were "Almost" dry and hung them out to finish
drying.  I don't know if my drying procedure is necessary or not >

I've always just let them air dry. The biggest PITA about this job is removing all those staples and then re-stapling the fabric back on. Good time to replace the foam too, with new high density foam.  Jeff
