I still have a commodore 64 and a 128 that works. Cant use it for internet and the games are slow to load as the are on cassette tape. I did upgrade it to a floppy disk drive after having only a tape drive for a few months. The games on disk don't work anymore. As of now its packed into a box in the attic waiting for my kids to throw out once I pass away in about 40-50 years from now! Are these things even worth anything to anyone? Reminds me of the blurb on the box of my Atari 800XL: "What are you going do to with all that memory?" It had 64K of memory. The Atari is long gone (gee, I miss "Eastern Front"). Now, I buy cheap PCs from the major manufacturers' (Compaq or Dell the last two) "factory outlet" stores. Yeh, Windows stinks, but my time is worth less than my money. Actually, I have not had that much trouble with XP. The latest Dell is not showing the 3-years-then-it-turns-into-a-turd syndrome of past PCs. Of course, I use my work-supplied laptop (also a Dell with XP) for most everything so the SO uses the Dell desktop. Doing my part to get the post count up to 142 (what's the time cutoff?)
