If you look at Bentley page 5, it shows the crossmember vin in a picture
about where to jack the vehicle up at the front. In the top left corner
of the picture is a lighter horizontal spot on the crossmember, which in
actually is the vin of the vehicle. In real life this vin can be
obscured by grime and/or undercoating.
