Just bought my first Volkswagon.  I have been wanting a "bus" for years
now and finally decided to get a Westfalia.  It's not in great condition
but I look forward to giving it some love and making some good
memories.  As far as I know it's all stock and the engine is original
with 257k miles.

Anyone have any suggestions on things I should check first and maybe
replace?

Any experience installing and using the clear front turn signals I need
one and am considering the clear "Euro" style?

Also I am going to smog it (CA) any suggestions on pre-smog maintenance
to help pass smog?
