Hi All,
been there done that !!!
High Uinta's 4th July no less !
Coldest night I've ever experienced there !!!
( We were either in tents or just on the ground in bags )
Finally after experiencing bone chilling cold for an hour
and worrying about freezing to death.
Both for myself and my family,
I got up, pulled football sized rocks out of the fire pit,
wrapped them in towels and placed
one in everybody's sleeping bags.
I truly believe it saved our lives that night !!!
best,
John C...
