Well- I pulled the dash pod off and tried unplugging and plugging the main dash plug in and out a few times along with checking the grounds at the made star ground rings by the fuse box. Nothing is unplugged. I also tried wiggling various grounds again. The strange thing to me the hazards work fine. The green light blinks on and off. Pulling the dash I really only unplugged a few things, One of which is the plugs on the turn stalk and I'm going to try switching it out with another stalk I have. I realize a bad ground is most likely the problem but if anyone has any idea on the best way to track it down I'm all ears. thanks JFF On Mar 1, 2008, at 11:42 AM, Ken Wilford wrote: It is probably a loose or broken ground connection at one of the two star ground connectors that are behind the fuse panel. The other thing I would try is unplugging the instrument cluster and plugging that back in. Be sure the plug is straight. You should find the problem this way.
