That is exactly what we had in mind.... Leave the bus at the campsite and go exploring all the little towns and cities on the bike...If there is an interest and the design works.. I'll post it... I know Al has to make two, One for us and one for my son (78 bus "Bert"). I like the idea of having a small motorbike or even a moped or two to save on gas and to get around tourist destinations without so much worry over parking etc. Also, I would love to bring my 80 closer to the blue Sunagon toy van I had growing up. The bike on the back is a must (I guess I'll have to do without the straight up-and-down Riviera top). ollie '80 "Chopstick" On Mar 14, 2008, at 10:52 AM, barriver witch wrote: Hello Has anyone ever tried or seen anyone build a motorbike carrier for the back of a vanagon?? We have a yamaha BW5 (Zuma) We'd like one with a hinge so we can still open the back door if needed..... If not McGiever (my hubbie) is going to weld one up....wish us luck..lol..
