I changed the transmission fluid in our '83 manual westy today---put in redline mt-90. In spite of being parked level (I thought), the transmission took basically a full 4 quarts before any started dripping out. Is there some danger that I've overfilled it? For what it's worth, when I first took out the fill plug (before the drain plug), oil came out of there, so apparently it was filled pretty much to the top originally (the green stuff came out, so I'm assuming original). Thanks for any advice, Wes
