Update. It is my die that is off. I tried my friends 10x1.5 die on the rest of the studs once I got home and the die goes on much easier. There is still a little resistance but I do not feel like I'm buggering the threads up with it. My die was brand new BTW...not all dies are created equally! Thanks for the advice. Pascal '84Westy
