There is also an "o" ring that sits inside the flywheel. On my two motors this seal was missing...for some reason. It's cheep and if you replace the main seal, you are already in there. It would take maybe 2 minutes to clean the seat and replace the seal as it's right there inside the flywheel flange. Pascal '84 Westy
