Subject:Horn sounding intermittently

Hi volks,

I just did a search of the last two years archives and followed the ref'd
links to VanCafe and BusDepot and see the following:

321419661A For this part number on each site the following
Name/descriptions are:

VanCafe -
Part #: 321.419.661A Title: *Horn Contact Ring* Price:$37.00

BusDepot-
Clocksprin <http://www.busdepot.com/details.jsp?partnumber=321419661A>

Turn Signal Cancelling Ring w/Slip Ring
$34.46

It takes me days to get an email response from BD and I'm waiting one from
VC, so,

Are these one and the same part?

If so, does it perform horn AND turn signal functions?

There was a bloke in the last two years on here who had an intermittent horn
sounding while turning corners and was planning to replace the brass ring
under the swheel to resolve the problem. Does anyone agree with this
strategy?

I'm awaiting a response from him as well.

Thanks!
