I read a little about this in the archives, but > would like to hear from other tall Westy owners who've done this-was it > worth it? Thanks, Jeff > im 6ft tall, and i added a swival to my PASSENGER side but i didnt want to add one to the drivers side for this very reason.. if you cut your swival base off neatly at the welds, (use a cutoff saw or high rpm die cutter) it will drop your seat down to passenger van height and it will be comfortable. and then you can sell your swival base for $100, which is what they're going for..and people are looking for them! chris ps, cover your cab area with a tarp when you use the cutter...metal shavings go everywhere.. ************** Create a Home Theater Like the Pros.
