Pulley side is VW 049 903 221 D, but I don't have the "industry" number at my fingertips. The opposite (slip ring) side is VW 034 903 221 (superseded to 051 903 221 B) which is a common "industry" number 6201 (or SKF 6201.2RSR.C3.L12). -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On Tue, Apr 1, 2008 at 2:10 PM, Ron Toby <ronkat81@yahoo.com> wrote: > Hi Does anyone know what size bearings are needed in a alternator for a 85 > vanagon?
