Well, it is not uncommon at all to lose SOME coolant without seeing leaks...but going from the max to min line sounds like quite a bit, especially for a single day. Lots of questions to clear up first though: 1. Did you recently flush the system and you're in the first few days of air bleeding out? 2. How much do you drive in a day? 3. Any funny smells - like maple syrup? 4. Any cooling problems - spiking temp needle, etc.? -Ben > Date: Thu, 10 Apr 2008 10:07:51 -0700 > From: sanfordchef@COX.NET > Subject: Coolant Leak? > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > > My overflow coolant tank keeps losing a small amount of coolant everyday, > but there are no "puddles" under the car. > > It goes from Max to Min in a day. > > Any ideas before I go to my mechanic? > > thanks, > > Janet _________________________________________________________________ Pack up or back upuse SkyDrive to transfer files or keep extra copies.
