Put it this way - 'Smart girls see the comfort and advantages of a vanagon, particularly one with any sort of bed in it." Comfort and feeling clean - very important to most women. And a vanagon provides that, whether on a day trip or longer trip. Portable living roo too, great for honing out, mobile privacy with curtains fitted, what's not to like ?? !! Puts a car to shame in the comfort and usefulness department. A car might be faster, quieter and more feul efficient, but it is also narrow in scope, A vanagon does that with not-too-much penalty for driving and fuel mileage, but LOTS of other abilites, hauling stuff, camping in it, sleeping in it. It's a no-brainer.
