Engine oil leak at the front?

Is there an aftermarket external engine oil cooler up there?

Is this an automatic Vanagon? Is there an aftermarket cooler for
tranny fluid up there?

These might be far fetched thoughts, but AFAIK, the engine oil doesn't
travel up to the front of the vehicle.

But then I don't own a "modern" Vanagon like yours! --- ;^)
