I must admit, their rantings did tempt me and I thought long and hard
about such a conversion over several years.  I joined their list and did
lots of research but, in the end, I resisted.

I have already received my rebuilt Boston Bob 2.1 engine (what a
beautiful piece of work!) that I'll soon be putting into my '85 Westy.

My present plan is to use a 2.1 throttle body, plenum, intake runners,
AFM, air filter box and intake snorkel, and a Euro 2.1 "Digijet" ECU.
For now, I'll be keeping the 1.9 cooling system and exhaust but I may go
to a 2.1 exhaust system in the future.
