Snow is the reason I do not presently have a Vanagon...still only looking.????? I had trouble with snow traction. Backing down hills because I could not get up them got old (NC mountains). I sold it and bought a Rodeo.? Its gone too as?I have a diesel Volvo wagon now.
I looked for a Syncro and gave up.?? The best suggestion I heard was to put about 4 bags of cement over the engine lid as well as use Nokian Hakkapelitta winter tyres.?? I dont think you need bigger testicals, just more grip.??

How come you have an '85 air cooled ??? A retrofit? ???

  also do u know any one near grandrapids that can pull a motor and give it a
good cleaning and tune up.....she is running kinda rough.any one know a good fix
for the frount floor panals....the black rubber fell off and i have nice rusted
out holes....fun with mud puddles i tell ya.

  i also have a chance to get a 85 vanagon just like mine but it is an auto
matic so is any one intersted in the trany................................
