We two laned it across MI on our way home from Grand Rapids (Buses by the
Beach) yesterday. It was a nice ride and much more rewarding than the
expressway. Although we've made the ride acfcros M-57 several tiems now and
while beautiful it doesn't share the same small towns that you mention -  a
lot of farm land. It was still a nice ride though.
