this is a factory OEM 1989 Diesel westie
does anyone with exhaust knowledge think this Blue Tec could be retro fitted

it seems this technology improves low sulfur diesel performance
and allows vehicles so equipped to pass latest emission testing

i see by the stories online that VW has recently acquired the right to equip
vehicles with Blue Tec
