Gas is up 66 cents a gallon over last year. This will add $6.60 to my average camping trip of 200 miles. If anything, I've planned more camping trips this year than last, just keeping them closer to home. Lola is not the daily driver; I have a far more economical vehicle for that. Camping is my sanity; if I am forced to stay home all the time, I will surely go insane : ) Ellen & Lola, '85 Vanagon ASI Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of autumn.--John Muir> Date: Tue, 27 May 2008 20:47:33 -0700> From: becida@COMCAST.NET> Subject: Re: Gasoline> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > At 5/27/2008 06:14 AM, J Stewart wrote:> ><I'm just> >'shocked' that I can put over $40 in a VW bus...
