I've looked at these, and they will fit a hardtop vanagon. What concerns me is there doesn't seem to be anyway to lock them. I have Yakima High Towers (that were cut down, because they're too high) and they have a lock. I want to switch to the heavy duty aluminum, but the security concerns me.
