Thanks to all who responded with info on the availability of steel 15" wheels. Two tanks of gasoline now since I 'revised' my driving habits and I've gone from about 23mpg to about 25mpg. This in my topless home-done westie '84 with the '92 1.8liter inline VW gasser and a 5 speed. I lowered my cruising speed from 65-75 down to 55-65. I coast in neutral on the downhills. I kick it into neutral when I get off the interstate or come to a highway intersection without someone right on my tail. I stopped driving right up to signals and started looking ahead a bit to anticipate how to keep my momentum without using the accelerator pedal.. My new driving style will probably be more effective on long highway trips, given the aerodynamic consequences at higher speeds. Pretty cool, for one who need the space of a bigger vehicle, to still be able to get 25mpg and cook dinner sometimes, too. Don Hanson
