Another problem with this design for me is when I am parked just wrong the
water will thud steadily as it drips.  This has woken me up a few times,,
and I have moved the van to drop the nose in order to get back to sleep,,
how annoying..

I'd love to see the lists ideas on this.  I have thought about running a
thick bead of clear silicone which might be enough to channel the water
around? but I am not a big fan of exposed silicone beads on my van (ugly).
