There are several companies that are bring in 16 years and older vehiclesfrom
Japan. There have to be this age to avoid duty. There are a ton
of Mitsubishi Delica 4 wheel drives running around, especially on
Vancouver Island. I don't know what happens when you breakdown
in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and you need a part quickly.
I stopped at a place on the island last year that was selling this Delica
4 wheel van drives along with regular cars. He said the Delica's were
selling so quickly and demand so high he was getting out of regular
vehicles. Apparently you can plunk down a deposit and order what you
want.
