Lightfoot is such a great songwriter, but he never really did have much of a voice! Don't get upset, I saw Gordo way back when it was just him and Dennis Pendrith with Red Shea on guitar. The album 'Tony sings Gordon' is a GREAT CD - Lightfoot's melodies and Tony Rice's plaintive voice are an inspired match and the song structures force Tony to play to the point. Both my kids love it too.
